So many of you maybe question if our very first project has come into fruition and indeed it has. Just that after musical “The Days” and event on Dec 27, we’re a bit busy with everything and anything so cannot post properly. Our first project collect donation from you, along with heartfelt messages and videos from us. We finally managed to send few small gifts to Ji Chang Wook directly. Our messenger is one lucky woman who managed to fly to South Korea to watch Ji Chang Wook’s musical “The Days”. We’re really grateful and want to extend our thanks and gratitude to each and everyone who help us, directly or indirectly, and to you who participate in this project. Thank you very much! 너무 감사합니다!!
Here’s what we send to him: 1. Batik shirt
We pondered a lot if it’s appropriate to gives him batik shirt since he’s not someone who will wear them to formal occasions. But then, because it’s unique and made in Indonesia so we decided to buy one and hopefully he will find it unique enough to wear the shirt.
2. @jichangwook_id Magazine
Our customized magazine consists of several stories and articles for Ji Chang Wook. Written in Korean and English, the magazine will give him insight to Indonesia, JCW Indonesia fansclub and our thought and review to his projects.
3. Message video on a CD
The video contains our messages, from fans who post it on our Facebook, twitter and even send it directly via email. Also contains our own message and preview of Indonesia so he will take note and hopefully comes to Indonesia soon.
4. Snacks
We send him quite lots of snacks that only from Indonesia. Namely sale pisang (dried banana) and keripik pare (bitter melon chips). Don’t worry, the snacks probably already eaten by him.
Our messenger had 2 chances to meet Ji Chang Wook (lucky her!). First on December 19 when she gives the gifts from us and also from other fan. It’s snowy there but Ji Chang Wook still gives his best smiles to fans who waited for him after the performance. The moment when our gifts (red bag) reached Ji Chang Wook’s hand is captured in this video below.
The second chance was at “The Days” event itself “WITH Free-spirited Mu Yeong”. Here Ji Chang Wook only appeared during the performance and shortly after the performance he greeted the fans briefly. Our messenger fan snapped short video when he greeted the fans after the performance. He looked happy and said thank you very much for the fans from faraway places. He was humble as he said “thank you” repeatedly. He also said about his probable enlistment date at the end of 2015 or early 2016.
Other than that, tha attended fans also receives several gifts from Glorious, such as his 2015 calendar, Christmas and New Year Card, and tteok (rice cake) from DayRock (his fancafe). The special calendar specially designed with his exclusive pictures at every month and with his personal message at the back of the calendar. All in all, congrats to the lucky fans who managed to see him from such close distance and got numerous personal gifts from him. Let's hope Ji Chang Wook also consider to visit Indonesia soon!
