Ji Chang Wook Osaka FM Report (07.06.2014)

After his successful fanmeeting in Tokyo, Japan, Ji Chang Wook went to Osaka for round 2 of “The Secret Show” fanmeeting. He left South Korea on 6 June 2014 from Gimpo Airport and landed that evening on Kansai International Airport.

Here's the story from audiences that attend the FM directly, mostly from @CherKell from JCW soompi thread:
MC told the audience to call out for JCW to come on stage. Someone yelled "oppaaaa!" but the MC said some of you are too old to call him oppa. So audience ended up calling him "Chang-kun" instead. ("kun" = “ is like "sir" or "-ssi".  Japan is all about utilizing the proper title (parents, teachers, elders, youngsters, boys, girls, etc.), and -kun is used as the informal title given to a Japanese male that is the same age or younger than you.  And since 2/3rds of the crowd was in their 30's and above, totally appropriate.)

Just like his Tokyo fanmeet, they played his coffee drama, he sang "Though I Loved You", and also gave a rose to an audience member. And we ran into that fan at dinner (we're out eating yakiniku too, but not at the same restaurant where Wookie's crew is dining) -- her name is Maru and she was almost fainting while waiving around that rose.  She kept repeating it was the "best day of her life ever."

There was a slideshow of various photos of him taken from behind-the-scenes and his daily life, including photos taken during his recent trip around Japan. He would explain each photo. After his hot spring bath at Beppu during his trip, he went to have dinner and then passed out almost immediately in bed. His manager Bang Chigu snapped a photo of him sleeping, so he said he has to be careful of his manager now. They flashed Bang Manager's picture of him sleeping on the screen.  SQUEALS of delight!!!

He talked a lot about Empress Ki. He said he ate a lot of food during his trip around Japan and put on a lot of weight. He even has a tummy now, and people made fun of him. He is now working on building up his muscles for his next project. (That’s why he looks like put on some weight. It’s because eating and working out.)
He said he usually drinks two glasses of alcohol when he's working, but drinks more when he isn't working. He said he would cook fried rice for his girlfriend if he gets one. He likes rice a lot.

No camera is allowed inside the stage. the Camera Nazis did remove one attendee who stood in the back of the auditorium taking pictures with her mobile phone. That’s why there’s so little photos of him in the auditorium.
The audience agreed that the songs sounded better at these shows than at Tokyo, and that the Osaka crowd was more engaged with the events on stage than the more "reserved" Tokyo audience (lots more squeeeeing and applause).

For some unknown reason, the "handkerchief sniffing" scene (In Empress Ki episode 15) was discussed in great detail.  He looked rather uncomfortable trying to explain it, as the MC asked if that handkerchief will now "go into a museum under locked guard."  (Sorry, best translation we all could come up with)

Sings "To The Butterfly"

LOTS of teary eyes as he was singing "To Butterfly."  We all (softly, of course) joined in on the "kajimaeyo" end of the song. He really put his best performance when singing “To The Butterfly.”

The High-Touch was a total scrum.  How do you get 500 attendees through that in less than the 10 minutes he had remaining?  We were warned no conversation, no gifts, no autographs, just don't do anything but get your hand slapped and shuffle along.

There was a small incident after the 18:00 show as JCW was being escorted to his van -- there was some pushing-and-shoving by the security guards of a few fans who they thought were getting a little too close to His Hotness.  We aren't the only ones a bit dismayed over their tactics; several tables over, there's a group of obachans discussing the very same thing.  It was uncharacteristically rather thug-like, to say the least.

He left Japan the next day. His flight from Kansai Airport was at 11:55 AM. He wears black t-shirt from Diesel that has the writing “MORE KAOS”. I wonder who design that shirt because “kaos” is Indonesian word for t-shirt.

Thank you for sharing the story and pictures! :)

This time, the fan meeting is based on the love story in the MV as a background theme.
But my Japanese is not good so I am watching the subtitles on the big screen and guessing most of the time.
Fanmeeting stage
First, after lights out at 2.05pm, the big screen showed the title of the show and said that JCW split up with his girlfriend because his girlfriend need to go overseas for studies but they reunite later.
A MV was played about the two of them talking about breaking up outdoors. JCW doesn’t want to breakup and one guy drove by and asked the girl to leave, JCW immediately question the girl is she going overseas with that guy. I don’t understand what the girl’s reply was. Anyway the girl left with that guy and left jcw at the place. The screen darkens and the stage lights up and jcw start singing the first song (from the days musical).

When he finished singing, MV play again, this time jcw has already become a famous star and received a call from his friend or manager (played by another actor) who told him there is this cute waitress at this café etc. jcw quickly changed to his blue base flower jacket and went there to see, but both the girl and jcw was surprised that they met again. JCW then sing a second song called “Sorry”
After the song ended, an MV was played that jcw went to look for the girl again, the ex was very calm and didn’t quite entertain him. Jcw’s friend cheer him on outside the window. Jcw was very embarrassed and so went to the bar instead with this friend. Later jcw sang “ She” on stage.

Jcw continue to pick her up in the MV, the ex-gf seems to complain about jcw’s clothes so he immediately went home to change into a formal suit but didn’t feel right and change again to some disco bling bling type of clothes (the audience all laugh, jcw was really quite funny).
That awful friend appeared again and laugh at jcw’s clothes. In the end, he wore a shirt and a black vest to see the ex-gf. When she saw him, she asked if he was coming to interview as a waiter. (everyone laughed). Jcw sat down and ordered coffee but started picking on her and complain about the coffee that he girl served but ex-gf is still a winner because she changed to an espresso and jcw had to spit out the coffee. Jcw had no choice but to look for his bad friend again and sang his  4th song.
This time the MV showed that the bad friend was in the café chatting happily with his ex-gf, the atmosphere was very flirtous and jcw was unhappy. So he interrupt them by ordering coffee. When the coffee came, his friend got a nice heart shape foam but jcw just got a blob.
Finally jcw seat in the garden and drank cass in frustration and went to look for his bad friend again. Bad friend was actually trying to be helpful and told him something enlightening, jcw dashed back to the café in tears to look for ex-gf (this is where he run in the promotional video).  Both of them met and jcw use both hands to hold on to the girls face and both of them bobo freeze frame. The screen show both sides but two of them just freeze frame like blocks. When jcw wanted to kiss the girl, the club members in the front rows screamed.
In the end, all the audience laughed even when the kiss freeze frame. Seems like the first to six or eight rows are all club members because nobody except one person took pictures. Jcw sang a fifth song at this time.
